A Joyous You!
Put your joy at the top of your priorities. Why? If you are not healthy and happy, how are you able to get outside of yourself and help others? Self-care is not selfish. Self-care is thriving. Here is a leadership principle: “If mom ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.” This section is about valuing yourself and make you a priority.
So what makes you happy? Try creating a Joy List. List 25 to 30 things. Make some no-cost like taking a walk with a friend or meditating. And make some where you invest in you like getting a pedicure or going on a trip. Figure out what makes you happy and incorporate those things weekly.
